At Duraco, our expertise is focused on adhesive coated products. We are the complete source from start to finish. In-house wet coating of pressure sensitive adhesive systems enhances our ability to control and track all phases of production to provide consistent quality and product flexibility. Our sales and technical staff are ready to assist in the development of a new product or provide options for cost effective revisions to an existing one.

We are a vertically integrated fabricator with complete skiving/splitting, wet coating, laminating slitting and die cutting capabilities including:

Skiving
Our skiving process enables us to take large rolls or buns of material and split them to a predetermined thickness giving us greater flexibility in meeting your requirements.

Slitting
Automated high speed slitting equipment can hold tolerances critical to your specifications. Our continuous length rolls set industry standards for long length, cutting down on changeover time on your floor.

Die Cutting
We have over 30 pieces of equipment from high speed, multi-stage rotary die cutters to large 40"x 60" hydraulic presses. This diverse stable of equipment gives us the flexibility to produce parts to best suit your needs. Our capabilities include parts kiss cut on a roll, individual pieces or pads on rolls and individual pieces packed loose in a box. To view see our Packing Options video clips. Adhesive Coating and Laminating
Our select group of rubber and acrylic adhesives are available with a variety of papers, films and carriers to meet your specific requirements. For information on what adhesives work best for specific applications, please view our Application Notes.

Adhesive Types
Rubber Based PSA - High initial tack with good shear strength and temperature resistance. Not recommended for direct UV exposure or use with plasticizers.

Acrylic Based PSA - Moderate initial tack with high shear strength and higher temperature resistance than rubber based PSA. Requires 24-48 hours to fully set-up. Recommended for UV exposure and use with some plasticizers.

Removable PSA - Low tack for clean removal from mounting surface. Not recommended for direct UV exposure or use with plasticizers.

Adhesive Systems
Direct PSA - Unsupported pressure sensitive adhesive.

Hi-Tack PSA-M - Supported with a polyester carrier for maximum dimensional stability

Hi-Tack PSA-C - Supported with a non-woven carrier is a cost effective alternative to the polyester carrier while still offering dimensional stability.

Product Engineering
Our technical expertise extends into our adhesive and material testing facilities and video coordinate measuring systems to assure your final parts are produced to industry standards.

2D Video CMM
The 2D video CMM is a two-axis, non-contact coordinate measurement system. This equipment includes a digital display with operator prompting and automatic part alignment, ensuring repeatable measuring. Quadra-Check 4000 software provides the PC-based digital readout and multitasking functionality such as CAD interface (.dxf) and data export. Our SPC-PC IV software uses a dynamic data exchange (DDE) function plotting the data points in real time. This data provides all information required in order to determine our process capability and the requirements for PPAP Level 3 submission.

Digitizer
The MX Digit 2000 Digitizer is a digital drafting machine having an advanced nesting system designed to use nesting algorithms to maximize yield during part fabrication. The equipment is capable of scanning objects (prototypes,production samples, etc.) and converting the image into CAD file format.

Tack Analyzer
The tack analyzer is capable of performing Tensile, Elongation, Kinetic Coefficient of Friction & Compression Deflection testing for foams and Peel, Quick Stick & Initial Tack analysis for adhesives. This test assists us in recommending the appropriate adhesive for your application.
