Duraco DK FILM provides the strength of our adhesive without the thickness of foam tape. For smooth, low profile applications where the product just needs to stick, DK FILM holds it together. The standard product is an aggressive rubber-based adhesive that bonds well to many surfaces including low surface energy plastics and powder coated metals.

Applications:
Works on extrusions, nameplates, P-O-P, packaging, signage, etc. The product should be tested in the application before use.

Tip:
Use DK FILM with overhang liner (OHL) when staging signs that are stacked. The overhang liner protects the adjacent surface from possible adhesive flow due to the increased weight of the stack.

 
Product:
.5 mil polyester film coated on both sides with 2 mils of adhesive. Available in straight cut or overhang liner on one or both sides

 Adhesive:
Rubber-based on both sides (not recommended in applications with direct UV exposure)
Acrylic-based (resistant to UV and plasticizers; requires 24 to 48 hours to reach a full bond)

Application Temperature:
65°F to 100°F.

Service Temperature:
Rubber-based adhesive -20°F to 150°F.
Acrylic-based adhesive -20°F to 175°F.

Shelf Life:
1-2 years @72°F and 50% R.H. when stored in a closed container.

Sizes:
Continuous length rolls in widths from 1/4 " to 1" and in lengths up to 1,500'.
