About Duraco, Inc.

Duraco Inc is a manufacturer and distributor of high performance adhesive coated products for a wide range of industries and applications. Headquartered in Forest Park, IL, Duraco mainly operates in North America but also sells globally with distribution in Europe, Central and South America, Asia.

Founded in 1947, Duraco grew from its modest roots as a one-man shop housed in a space less than 1000 sq. ft. to a 152,000 sq. ft. facility with over 120 employees.

Duraco Express locations are designed to satisfy the needs of customers who require immediate delivery of standard products in lower volume quantities with small minimum order values. Headquartered in Forest Park, IL, Duraco Express services Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, and Wisconsin.

Duraco forms part of Filtrona plc, along with protection and finishing product suppliers: Moss Plastic Parts and Skiffy who supply Europe, South America and China and Alliance Plastics who supply North America, Brazil, Europe, and China and MSI Oilfield Products who supply North America, South America, Central America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Caspian Region.

Filtrona plc is a leading international supplier of speciality plastic and fibre products with four operating divisions.

Filtrona is a well invested global business headquartered in the UK, with 29 manufacturing facilities, 41 sales & distribution operations and six research & development facilities spread across 25 countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Filtrona employs some 3,160 people across the world.

Filtrona operates in a dynamic international market environment. The Company continues to invest and to expand capacity and capability, to improve operational performance and customer service, and to exploit new business opportunities.

Protection & Finishing Products

A global market leading provider of protection and finishing solutions, manufacturing and distributing plastic injection moulded, dip moulded, adhesive-coated foam and metal products. Operating units in 14 countries serve a very broad base of customers with a rapid supply of primarily plastic products for protection and finishing applications in industries such as hydraulics, pneumatics, oil and gas, electrical controls, point of purchase and tubular metal products.

Porous Technologies

The leading global technology developer of technology and manufacturer of custom bonded fibre and hydrophilic foam components. Its components handle fluid and vapour and deliver high value and precision performance to many of the most well-known healthcare, consumer and industrial brand owners in the world. The components are used in a wide range of product applications including medical diagnostics and wound care, inkjet printer cartridges, writing instruments, and air fresheners.

Coated & Security Products

The global market leading producer of high quality self-adhesive tear tape and a growing supplier of labels and products and technologies for brand protection, document authentication, personal identification and track and trace. Customers in over 100 countries are served from facilities operating in six countries. Also includes plastic profile extrusion activities in The Netherlands.

Filter Products

This division is the only global independent cigarette filter supplier. The 12 worldwide locations, including a UK-based research facility and three regional development centres provide a flexible infrastructure strategically positioned to serve the cigarette industry. The division supplies a wide range of value adding high quality innovative filters from monoacetate to multi-segment speciality filters with sophisticated adsorbent materials.
